Welcome to my personal website. As a brief introduction, I have received my M.S. and PhD, respectively in 2002 and 2007, in Structural Engineering from International Institute of Earthquake Engineering and Seismology (IIEES). I also spent time, as a visiting researcher during my PhD, at IKPIR Institute at Ljubljana University in Slovenia in 2006. Then, I have joined ARAK University in IRAN in 2007. Recently, I joined University of Strathclyde in 2019 in order to co-lead WorkPackage 3 of the European ‘TURNkey’ project (H2020 – SC5 – 2018 – 2 call (action RIA – Research Innovation Action)) titled: “Towards more Earthquake-resilient Urban Societies through a Multi-sensor-based Information System enabling Earthquake Forecasting, Early Warning and Rapid Response actions”. My main research area is focused on the subjects of ‘seismic hazard analysis’, ‘ground motion selection in Performance-Based Earthquake Engineering’ and ‘earthquake early warning system’. The current website aims at providing related materials and publications in this research line of inquiry.
